Mary D. McKoy Completes Congressional Operations Certificate from TheCapitol.Net

  2010 FEB 11 - (VerticalNews.com) -- Mary D. McKoy has completed her certificate in Congressional Operations from TheCapitol.Net. The Certificate in Congressional Operations is awarded to participants in the program who have completed more than 75 hours of training about how congress works.

  Mary McKoy is currently serving as a Congressional Associate in the Congressional Affairs Office (CAO) at the U.S. Census Bureau where she is primarily responsible for serving as a liaison between the CAO staff and the Economic Directorate within the Bureau.

  Ms. McKoy began her career at the U.S. Census Bureau in 2000 as a Statistician in the Manufacturing and Construction Branch working on the Manufacturers' Shipments, Inventories and Order's survey (M3) where she was responsible for data collection within the petroleum and non-metallic minerals industries. In 2003, Ms. McKoy worked for the Economic Coordination and Planning Division and served as the Chairperson for the Standard Economic Processing System (StEPS) Change Control Board.

  Mary McKoy received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina, and her M.S. in Management from the University of Maryland. In October, 2009 she completed the Senior Leader Program through The George Washington University.
